MINISTRIES FOR ADULTS
Here at Calvary, we know that getting involved is the greatest way to grow and stay connected to our Church and your relationship with God. We encourage you to join, serve and be a part of any ministry or group we offer. We have specialized groups and classes that will tailor to your abilities and needs. God has given each and every one of you special talents and abilities so you can use them to better your community and the people surrounding you. We also know that life has it’s challenges. We also have many programs set up to not only help you through those challenges, but to help others too.
Our Life Groups are small group bible studies which meet during the week in various homes and locations throughout our community. They meet to discuss our current sermon series or a specific curriculum, grow spiritually, and have fun together. Our primary goal with Life Groups is to meaningfully connect you with other people, so that you can develop significant relationships and become more like Christ. Life Groups are a great place to meet people and build healthy relationships that can last a lifetime.
We offer various groups designed to fit your "stage-in-life" and personal interests. No matter where you are in your life or what background you have, there is a place for you! We firmly believe that the best way for you to grow spiritually and stay planted in our church is to join a Life Group.

After Christ's death and resurrection, he commanded the disciples to share the Gospel and the message of His redemption. This Great Commission still applies to Christians everywhere today. In the book of Acts, the apostle Paul writes that Christians everywhere have a mission of reconciliation and that once we receive the power of the Holy Spirit, we should be His witness to the whole world.
Christ didn't just want us to sit on our couch, He wanted us to spread the great news of His grace and righteousness. We believe in this, in fact, it won't take you long to find out Calvary Church has a strong heart for world missions. We deploy teams yearly to help teach the gospel and plant churches. Below you can learn about some of the missionaries that we support through our church.
Nathan & Rebecca Lloyd-Jones · Visit Website
Nathan and Rebecca began ministering as missionaries in Honduras in early 2006. Since then, the couple has primarily been teaching in the schools and ministering students. They have also been working extensively with the youth and churches in their region.
Andrew & Amithyst Roth · Visit Website
Andrew and Amethyst are pioneering a ministry in the North-Kivu province of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). This area has been torn apart by war and instability for over a decade. Through a three-pronged methodology called sector management, they're responsible for reaching these people with the love of Christ and empowering the indigenous church, including evangelism, discipleship/church planting and humanitarian work.
Shannon & Corné Stone · Visit Website
Shannon & Corné are missionaries to the country of South Africa. The small township where they live is named Mautse
and has about 17,000 people. No time is spent in health education, which could prevent so much death and disease. They are working to change this
as well as bring Christ into the picture, pray for healing, and expose the lies of the enemy regarding ancestral beliefs
If you would like to make a one time donation click here:
Or Join the 20/20 Vision Team:
Would you partner with the Stone’s and be a part of this vision at it’s beginning? They need a 20/20 Vision team: 200 people who would give $20 a month for 20 months, to help this work gain momentum and impact the area.
Prayer at Calvary Church is not something we do; it defines who we are. We are a praying people Through prayer, we grow in our personal relationship with God. Through intercession, we partner with God to establish His heart, His will, and His purposes in our familes, our church, our city, our nation, and the world. Prayer is engaging, exciting, and rewarding.
